Ian Lamont's blog at Computerworld has raised some issues I'd like to address. The December 7th entry talks about the problems with compression schemes such as MP3 and AAC, in comparison with lossless formats.

I am so freaking excited! Nothing stirs joy in my heart in quite the same way as obtaining a new Macintosh. It's been more than a month since I ordered my Quad G5. The holdup has been my choice of video cards. But I think the logjam has broken free.
